The most frequent angular deformities are the genu varus and genu valgus. These are deformities in the coronal plane of the knee that deviate from the normal limits of ± 2 standard deviations from the mean. The normal values of These angles vary with age, being normal that even 18 months of life there is a moderate genu varus (approximately 10°-15°) passing through a neutral axis at 18 months and later evolves to a valgus moderate (10°-15°) that corrects itself spontaneously over time. At 4-6 years of age there is already a valgus physiological (8th in girls and 7th in boys). From 7-10 years most deformities are resolved. In it adolescent there are also genu varus and valgus constitutional. The natural history of these ADAA is variable and it is possible that when the adolescent arrives at the skeletal maturity correction has not occurred (this is more frequent in the genu varus than in the valgus).
